What Is Agape Foods
Agape Foods is a vision of a future where food equality is not treated as a luxury, but a right enjoyed by all members of society. Sounds simple, right? Yet rising food prices and unemployment would have you believe otherwise.
The quality of the food we eat, how much we eat, and even when we eat all directly affect our physical, mental, and psychology health. Food is also the main anchor of culture and forms more than 40 percent of the world’s identity.
What makes it so special? Perhaps the very fact that it is our fuel. Like fresh water, it is what we need to survive. Yet the truth is that more than 20 percent of the Western world suffers from hidden hunger problems. Inadequate meals lacking nutritional value, or the lack of access to good quality food products plague many of our already deprived communities.
For too long, food has been used as a tool to prevent change. High grocery prices would have you believe that there isn’t enough to go around for everyone. At Agape Foods, we’re challenging this ideology and creating paths for accessibility in communities that are most vulnerable. The problem isn’t that there isn’t enough for all. And we’re here to prove it.
What We Do
Agape Foods is a not-for-profit organization that uses technology and local partnerships to make nutritious meals available to communities with mass incarceration.
By creating urban farms, partnerships with other leaders, and food-related job opportunities, we use food as a tool for economic empowerment.

Together, we are creating access to affordable, nutritional meals, jobs, and a flow of business within communities that are struggling to rise. We believe these tools will ignite change that will empower those striving to transition back into society.
Our Mission
We plan to use food and consistent employment as weapons to rise up against social inequality. When our fridges are stocked and stomachs full, we believe individuals and communities will flourish. They will have the strength to improve their means of livelihood and access other resources to improve their quality of life.
Our Vision
Imagine a world where no one had to struggle for a healthy meal. This is what Agape Foods aspires for: a tomorrow where the basic necessities of our livelihood are equal and accessible to all. A world where anyone with the intention to transition back to society is not held back by a lack of access to nutrition.
